You set the offer
Pick one of three available offers — BOGO on a drink up to $10, $3 off any drink up to $12, or 25% off any drink up to $15. Each has a fixed price cap and you decide what fits your margins and your state's alcohol regulations.

One redemption at a time
After a member redeems at your spot, a short global cooldown ticks down before they can redeem at a different restaurant/pub. Your per-venue cooldown setting still controls how often the same member can revisit you.

SocialCity exists to flip that.

What does it cost?+
The first 30 venues in each county sign up free — and stay free forever as long as their listing is active. After those early-adopter spots fill, new venues in that county pay $100/year. Either way, no commissions and no per-redemption fees. SocialCity's revenue is the $50-$150/year member subscriptions.
How do I know what offer to pick?+
Right now the picker has three drink-based templates with fixed price caps — pick whichever fits your margins and your local alcohol regulations. We may expand the offer set later; if you have a specific shape in mind, reach out and we'll talk.
What about alcohol-related offers?+
If you choose a drink-based offer (discounted drinks, BOGO, etc.), you — the venue — are solely responsible for complying with your state and local alcohol beverage regulations. SocialCity does not advertise alcohol discounts publicly and does not set or endorse any particular drink offer. We strongly recommend consulting your attorney or your state's alcohol beverage authority before launching an alcohol-related offer, and maintaining documentation of your compliance decisions.
Can I change or pause my offer?+
Yes. Edit the offer from your business dashboard any time. Switching to a custom offer or making material changes re-queues for a quick admin review.
What if I'm getting too busy with members?+
You pick your visit frequency: daily, every few days, once a week, or once a month. If regulars start redeeming so often it hurts your margins, tighten the window. You can change it anytime from your dashboard — no approval needed.
How do servers redeem?+
The member opens their SocialCity card — already on their phone in our app or on socialcitycard.com — and hands the phone over. Your server taps "Confirm" on the member's screen and that's the redemption. Nothing to install on your end, no scanner, no terminal — the member's device does all the work.
How is double-dipping prevented?+
Members can't redeem two offers back-to-back. After any redemption, a global cooldown blocks the next one for a configurable window. Per-venue cooldowns apply on top — your spot honors whatever revisit frequency you set during signup. We prevent double-dipping behind the scenes, so no one slips past either limit.
